Dr. Jay Ravindran is a cardiologist with comprehensive training across leading Australian institutions and a strong commitment to patient-centred care. He completed his Bachelor of Medical Science with High Distinction at the University of New South Wales, followed by his medical degree at James Cook University, graduating with distinction. He later obtained a Master of Internal Medicine from the University of Sydney.

Dr. Ravindran completed his Basic Physician Training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and specialist cardiology training at Concord Hospital. In 2024, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). He currently works as an interventional research fellow at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Concord Hospital.

In parallel with his clinical practice, Dr. Ravindran is undertaking a PhD at the University of Sydney, focusing on improving diagnosis and treatment options for patients with angina and non-obstructive coronary artery disease. His research is supported by a prestigious National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) grant.

Dr. Ravindran has particular interests in coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, structural heart intervention, heart failure, and preventative cardiology. He remains actively involved in clinical research and has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences.

He is dedicated to providing clear, compassionate, and evidence-based care, taking the time to ensure patients fully understand their condition and treatment options. He values a holistic approach and works closely with patients and referring doctors to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Outside of work, Dr. Ravindran enjoys playing cricket and tennis, helping him maintain a balanced and active lifestyle.
