Dr Michael is a very experienced cardiologist who completed his medical training at the prestigious Christian Medical College in India followed by cardiology training at the Waikato Hospital in New Zealand and the Royal Adelaide Hospital. He furthered his skills by pursuing interventional cardiology fellowship at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. He then completed another year of structural heart interventional fellowship at the world class Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto. His expertise include general cardiology, cardiac imaging, coronary angiograms, percutaneous interventions including complex coronary interventions. The structural interventions performed by Dr Michael include Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), Valve in valve implantations,Valve in ring implantations, Mitraclips, Triclips,Transcatheter  mitral valve replacements, balloon mitral valvuloplasty, paravalvular leak closures, PFO/ ASD closures, left atrial appendage closures. He is accredited as a Visiting Medical Officer at the Macquarie University Hospital where he performs all cardiac interventions.
