Victor completed cardiology training in Sri Lanka and was a board-certified cardiologist in Sri Lanka. He under took Interventional fellowship for 2 years at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney. After his fellowship worked as Cardiology CMO at Coffs Harbour health Campus in Mid North coast of New South Wales for 10 years. Subsequently trained as a senior registrar in Cardiology at Campbelltown hospital to gain further skills. Currently working as a staff specialist in the Department of Medicine at Campbelltown hospital.

Victor has gained extensive knowledge in the field of internal medicine and cardiology in the last 20 years in Sri Lanka and in Australia. He has worked in the city and in the rural areas of Australia and have managed many acute and chronic medical and cardiac problems. He believes that cardiology is no longer a single organ issue but multiple organs are involved and need broader approach. He resides in the Campbelltown area and knows the need of the local people and delivers care appropriately.

Victor has keen interest in general cardiology with special interest in chest pain management and coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, arrhythmias and management of heart failure. He believes in holistic approach to cardiac issues with patient centered approach. He believes in good communication to the patient and to their family is essential in their management. He believes the availability to the patient at their hour of need is very essential for patient management. Victor is very committed to deliver the latest diagnostic and evidence-based treatment to all his patients.

Victor has a strong commitment to teaching and is actively involved in the mentoring of medical students, basic physician trainees and advanced trainees in cardiology.

Victor loves his sports and follows the cricket and rugby league in his spare time.

Victor is fluent in English, Tamil and Sinhala.
